In September 2022, a fresh wave of change swept over the franchise as Future Sports Bangladesh took over ownership, and the team was rebranded as the Sylhet Strikers.
Towhid Hridoy’s Journey
A significant development for the Sylhet Strikers saw the departure of Towhid Hridoy, a talented cricketer, who is set to join the Comilla Victorians in the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). Hridoy’s transition to the four-time champion Comilla Victorians marks a new chapter in his cricketing career. His journey came to prominence after his remarkable performance with Sylhet in the last BPL season, leading to a call-up to the national team.
